If you are interested in joining our leadership team please apply below. Late applications will not be considered. All students who have marched at least one season are eligible and encouraged to apply. Please note that this form requires some parent signatures as well, it is crucial that students and parents look it over together. Though this application is your way of officially indicating to us you are interested, your audition for leadership began the moment you joined our program and continues every day. If you are unsure but think you want to, we highly encourage you go out for it!! The sooner you start the process, the more you'll be able to learn about leadership at CW and be more prepared for future seasons!
All student leaders from the 2025 season who wish to continue on the leadership team, MUST RE-APPLY. There is no "fixed" set of section leads//captains//DMs, our goal every year is to create the ideal team to put our band in a position to succeed. Reach out to the 2025 leadership team and ask them about their responsibilities and experience to help see if it would be a good fit for you!

4/22 BAND BLITZ:
8:00AM Call Time
Students should arrive in their under-uniform with their hair done (football game regulations)
We will change into uniform and set up at CW
8:15 WARM UP & TUNE in SECTIONS
8:30 LOAD BUSSES
8:40 DEPART
11:15 Anticipated arrival back at CW

REGISTRATION MEETING 7:30 - 8:30 PM
We will be having our 2026 Registration meeting from 7:30 - 8:30 in the Clovis West Band Room. It is extremely important that ALL families of students who will be participating in the 2026 CW Marching Band & Concert Bands for the first time attend (transfer students who are new to our program and incoming 9th grade families). We will be discussing critical summer dates, the fall schedule, band registration, uniform fittings, and course requirement/academic schedule changes. At the conclusion of this meeting we will head out to the track field to watch the students' final practice run of the parade and then they will be dismissed to you from there!
4/24 RALLY:
Students will be excused from their 4th period class. Report to band room at the beginning of 4th Period.
